Master's Public Relations Work

Below is a collection of PR and advertising work I completed both individually and with my groups for various brands. For several of these projects, I was tasked with creating a pitch deck, which required my team and me to conduct extensive research, uncover key insights, and develop a campaign plan to effectively achieve the brands' goals.

Gillette Shave the Stigma Campaign

This project is a pitch deck my team and I worked on for a Gillette assignment. We were tasked with developing a campaign aimed at positioning Gillette as the top shaving choice for Black men. Our approach included market research, audience insights, and strategic messaging to create a compelling and culturally resonant campaign.

Rush Hospital Advertising Campaign

For this project, my team and I developed an advertising campaign for Rush Hospital, focusing on enhancing community engagement and awareness. Our strategy included in-depth research to understand the hospital’s target audience, crafting compelling messaging, and designing a multi-channel campaign to highlight Rush’s commitment to quality healthcare. We incorporated digital, social media, and traditional advertising elements to effectively reach and connect with the community.

McDonald’s Documentary Pitch

For this project, I was tasked with developing a short pitch for a potential McDonald's documentary that would align with their brand identity and appeal to their target audience. My approach focused on how McDonald's could leverage storytelling to strengthen its connection with Gen Z through authentic, engaging content. The pitch outlined key themes for the documentary, social media strategies to drive engagement, and in-person activations to create meaningful interactions with their audience.

UnitedHealthcare | Case Study

In this case study my team and I research the murder of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson and looked into the reactions from stakeholders and shareholders. We looked into the alleged claims of corporate greed and mistrust, and in the end evaluated these findings with Page Principles. At the end of the quarter my team took a win from a panel of judges at Golin and will be submitting for IPR national competition.
